IMOTSKI:
The biggest town in the background of Biokovo, located 40 km away from Baška Voda. In the outskirts of Imotski, in the deep fields there are great natural specificities of this area: The Lakes of Imotski. The most known are: Red Lake (almost perfect round shape, steep red stone sides, and represent the deepest well of the of the Dinaridi area. The bottom of the lake is at the altitude of 4 m above the sea level and has never dried out), and the Blue Lake (oval shape, the water level varies between 342 m and zero).

SPLIT:
The old Croatian city of romance and renaissance with Mediterranean atmosphere, located 50 km away from Baška Voda. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia, and the second largest city in Croatia. The city center is characterized with the medieval Diocletian’s palace dating from the 4th century (it is under the UNESCO protection since 1979.) which is the unique example in the world.

OMIŠ:
City of Omiš is located at the estuary of river Cetina, 21 km south of Split. The favorable location enabled a good military defense in the past, and today it is a unique particularity on the Croatian coast. Impressive stone door, through which the clean river Cetina enters the sea, represents the geological symbol of the old town, and the river at the same time creates the only way into the backside of the river Jadro until Vrulja.

RAFTING ON THE RIVER CETINA:
The unique adventure in the close distance of Omiš, at the beauty of crystal clean river Cetina, with amazing waterfalls, beautiful and deep canyons, mild and green forests, hidden caves, small islands, river rapids and old picturesque mills.

DUBROVNIK:
Dubrovnik is the city on the south of Croatia, located 175 kilometers from Baška Voda. This city is administrative center of Dubrovačko-neretvanska County and one of the most important historical and tourist center in Croatia. In 1979 the city of Dubrovnik was added to the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage.

MEĐUGORJE:
World famous religious parish - the place of prayer and reconciliation, located only 70 km away from Baška Voda. It is popular because of Our Lady’s appearances that have started on June 24, 1981, and have continued until today. One million Catholics all over the world visit Međugorje every year to find peace, consolation and strength to overcome daily problems.

THE ISLAND HVAR
The island located 15 nautical miles away from Baška Voda. It is the longest and the sunniest island in Croatia and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Well-indented coast, numerous picturesque and clean beaches, lots of sun, untouched nature, very rich historical and cultural heritage, the lavender, olive and wine scents and hospitable locals are the main reasons why the island of Hvar is so popular.

THE ISLAND OF BRAČ
The third largest island in Croatia located few kilometers away from the coast of Baška Voda. Unlike the rest of the Adriatic islands, the inland of Brač is very developed and offers a lot of peaceful corners, rich flora and fauna, and distinct experience of seasons.

PLITVIČKA LAKES
The biggest, the oldest and the most visited National Park in Croatia and unavoidable destination for all the tourists. The wide forests, exceptional beauties of lakes and waterfalls, the rich wildlife, the fresh mountain air, the contrast of colors, the forest paths, and the wooden bridges all form a part of amazing entity that UNESCO proclaimed world’s natural heritage in 1979 (among the first in the world).
